ARTISTIC ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED FOR ARTISTIC DIRECTOR:
• Strong background and experience in dance and art
• Deep commitment to ensuring strong and positive relationship with performers
• Creativity and Imagination, and the ability to challenge and inspire the various ethnic organizations artistically
• Commitment to respecting the history and traditions of the Council of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA)
• Good relationships and contacts with the dance world
LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
• Ability to provide leadership in formulating, articulating and achieving the theme of the Splendor of the East (SOE)
• Character exhibiting energy, maturity of judgment, positive attitude and sense of humor
• Strong communication skills
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
• Ability to create and develop strong positive relationship within the CAPA organization
