Every year Education Committee holds APA Youth Leadership Summit. Content of the summit varies every year, but the theme usually revolves around leadership development.
Goals for Middle and High School Students:
To provide students opportunity to explore different fields of leadership
To offer students information about various career paths
To encourage students to become independent thinkers as future leaders
Event features:
1. Career Cruising – providing an opportunity for students to meet with professionals from different career fields.
2. Global Leadership – offering students strategies to become future global leaders
3. Youth Mentoring – supporting students through peer-mentors
