The Council of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA) has served the Greater Detroit Area by providing unique events that have brought cultural awareness and personal growth to the 300,000+ Asian Pacific Americans and the communities in Michigan.

The U.S. Congress has designated the month of May each year as “Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month.”  In celebration of this nationally recognized month we are pleased to again feature our signature event on Saturday, May 11 2013, the “Splendor of the East 2013.”  This multi-cultural event continually impresses its guests with local Asian Pacific celebrities, international entertainers and world-class performances.  This premier event, which generates an attendance of more than 1,000 people each year will undoubtedly be just as much a beautiful and enriching experience as it has been in the past 10 years.
