• Responsible for all artistic functions of the Splendor of the East 2016 (SOE 16) including selection of performing groups and programming of all other artistic support personnel.
• Articulates a clear artistic vision consistent with CAPA-established theme for the SOE 16 and defines performance standards consistent with skills and abilities of the performing groups in order to achieve the highest possible standards of excellence in the areas of musicality, direction and performance.
• Work cooperatively with CAPA Board of Directors and support the overall plan that will be executed by the chairperson and/or co-chairperson of the SOE 16 Planning Committees.
• Work closely with the CAPA Executive Director in establishing and achieving budgeted financial goals.
• Conduct appropriate number of choreographer meetings and rehearsal sessions to adequately prepare the performing groups for the SOE 16 cultural show.
